We provide on-site services to photographers who want to produce tintypes, but need of an experienced technician to coat and process plates. Our darkroom trailer (including one RayKo staff member), is available for rent for special events, off-site portrait sessions, and much much more.

ON-SITE TECHNICAL SERVICE
-  Consult with our staff to determine lighting and exposure requirements for your shoot.
-  During your shoot, a RayKo technician will coat and process your plates.
-  Plates must be left on-site to dry for at least 24-hours, and can be picked up the following day
- *We provide a camera, lens and Tintype plate holders.
- Hourly rate for technician | $200/hr (one-hour minimum)
*Chemistry and plates are included. Studio and darkroom rental not-included

STUDIO & DARKROOM RATES
-  Studio rental  |  $300/8-hour day  |  $200/4-hour day
-  B/W Private darkroom rental | $13/hr

PRE-MIXED CHEMISTRY
If you’re an experienced Tintype photographer, and need a resource for pre-mixed chemistry, RayKo is the place for you. We need at least 7-days for delivery of all chemical orders. Custom cut plates can be delivered in 24-48 hours. Any private B/W darkroom can be set-up for coating plates. This includes custom silver bath and fixer tanks, development tray, and wash tray.

- Collodion (125ml) | $40/bottle (fast-ripening Ammonium Iodide formula)
- Developer (100ml) | $15/bottle
- Aluminum black lacquer plates (.025″) | $20/10-4×5″ plates | $30/10-5×7″ plates

RayKo Photo Center’s very own tintype darkroom trailer and experienced staff is available to come out and make your event more than memorable.
